Transpaco Flex

Project Information Transpaco Limited is a leading manufacturer, recycler and distributor of paper and plastic packaging products in South Africa. The particular site which was audited was Transpaco in Wynberg. This falls under the Flexibles division and Transpaco Limited is the largest retail carrier bag and scholastic supplier in South Africa. An energy audit was carried out to help the site formulate a plan to mitigate loadshedding and identify the load requirements of the critical machinery on site. Along-side this investigation, over 500 000kWh of energy savings was identified at the facility. This translates to approximately R 650 000 in savings per annum and was a very successful investigation.
