Project Information The NrG Team carried out an energy audit at Econofoods, which is primarily a cold storage warehousing facility. It acts as the main depot for the company and distributes across the country. The main aim of the audit was to investigate the efficiency of the refrigeration areas and identify energy saving interventions. The investigation ended up highlighting much more than just refrigeration improvements, VSD’s were suggested, lighting replacements, behavioural changes and more. In total a 21% reduction in overall site energy consumption was identified.
