Project Information The Next Renewable Generation team completed their first audit for the Starwood group, at their Cape Town hotel, in August 2015. The findings were shared with the global associate director of sustainability of the Starwood group, who found the process extremely valuable and has asked to roll-out the audit process to the other Starwood hotel’s in South Africa. The energy savings interventions identified, will allow the group to reach their energy and emissions reductions targets! Starwood has pledged to reduce both their emissions and energy consumption by 30% by 2020. NRG’s partnership with Starwood, coupled with the energy efficiency expertise of the South African team, will support the achievement of these goals.
